GASSHUKU (Nature Training)
HOMESCHOOL BEACH GASSHUKU
Date: DEC Thu 14th
Venue: Shaws Beach, Ballina
Time: 9-10.30am, followed by end-of-year BYP picnic
Cost: Free (during class hours)
All karateka are encouraged to come and join in the end-of-year fun!
BRING: Swimmers, towel, spare clothes, food, water
WEAR: Hat, karate shirt & pants (no belt)
PHOTOS: A volunteer to take and send photos would be much appreciated. 🙏
SENIOR 3 DAY GASSHUKU CAMP
Date: JAN Fri 12th 4pm - Mon 15th 1pm
Venue: Sensei’s home
Time: Arrival and departure times have some flexibility. See from for more details.
Fee: $250 + Pantry Contribution
WHAT TO BRING: This will be provided closer to the Gasshuku.
JUNIOR OVERNIGHT GASSHUKU
Ages: 6-12 years, Registered Nimbin students
Dates: JAN Mon 22nd - Tue 23rd
Venue: Sensei’s home, Tuntable Creek
Time: TBA (in line with parental work hours)
Camp Fee: $150
WHAT TO BRING: This will be provided closer to the Gasshuku.
FAMILIES: This Gasshuku is a safe place for students to develop interdependence with other students and leaders away from the home environment. Parents of the youngest newest students are welcome and invited to attend to support the students.
